Streamline Your Security: Automated Multi-Factor Authentication Setup Made Easy

Original Post: Automated Support for MFA Setups |…

Veracode has launched a feature called Dynamic Analysis MFA, allowing automated support for multi-factor authentication (MFA) during dynamic analysis scans, removing the need to disable or manually handle MFA configurations during security testing.

### Understanding Dynamic Analysis MFA
MFA enhances security by requiring an additional authentication step beyond a username and password. With its rising importance, some security tools necessitate disabling or manually supporting MFA during security testing, which can be a hassle.

### How Dynamic Analysis MFA Works
This feature automates MFA during dynamic analysis scans by configuring Time-Based One-Time Password (TOTP) seed credentials. TOTP seeds can be set as scanner variables in the Dynamic Analysis interface or REST API, enabling seamless MFA integration during security scans.

### Features and Benefits
This automation reduces disruptions and enhances security during application testing. Veracode’s toolset, including the new Dynamic Analysis MFA, aligns with OWASP standards, helping detect and manage vulnerabilities effectively.

### Getting Started
You can start using Dynamic Analysis MFA by configuring TOTP seeds within the scan settings. Veracode also offers a free 14-day trial of their Dynamic Analysis solution to quickly initiate security scans of applications and APIs.
