Initially aware it could be a scam, they created an anonymous email via Fastmail and signed up on the provided exchange platform. Surprisingly, the author was credited with more Bitcoin than promised, raising further suspicion. When they attempted to withdraw the funds, the platform requested additional deposits, revealing the scam’s true nature of endlessly demanding deposits without allowing withdrawals.

The author created another account, confirming the scam when they received the same significant amount of Bitcoin. They noted the platform’s poor security practices and advised caution, suggesting only using reputable and well-known exchanges. A subsequent update showed the deposited Bitcoin was withdrawn by the scammers, solidifying the fraudulent nature of the exchange. The author included domain records pointing to Cloudflare, indicating the scam’s profitability.
