Setting up Let’s Encrypt on Unifi: Step-by-Step Guide

The blog originally provided instructions on how to enable Let’s Encrypt on Unifi equipment, but those instructions no longer work with version 3.x. However, the process has now been simplified. First, enable SSH on your Unifi device, then install certbot and the appropriate certbot DNS plugin. If using Cloudflare, create an API token and a config file. Next, obtain a Let’s Encrypt certificate using certbot and point Unifi to use it. After restarting your device, the new and valid Let’s Encrypt certificate should be successfully served.
